Our client, a market leader within the Utilities industry, is looking to recruit a Process Technician on a full-time temporary basis for 3 months to work at their Ellesmere Port based site. Job Purpose The role supports process, scientific and technical service delivery across all areas of the business. Working across the region, Process Technicians assist in the responsibility for providing data and critical information that will help to influence key decision making. Accountabilities Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation and safety policies to prevent accidents and reduce H&S incidents Provide scientific, process and technical support to the Process Technology Team (PTT). Development and delivery of appropriate site-specific projects to ensure that required outputs are delivered in a resource efficient manner at minimum cost. Use and develop analytical techniques, both laboratory and field based, to deliver outputs, enhance PTT capability and comply with QA procedures. Network with other practitioners involved in similar activities, both within and external to the business, to identify new, novel and emerging techniques which would bring about commercial and/or environmental benefits. Assist in the delivery of in-house training packages Contribute to the management of all work packages unaided from start to finish. Assist in the identification and development of "Best practice" and practically apply the skills of PTT to improve performance. Collate, analyse and present data to customer specification.
