Gender Based Violence Nurse.
The Gender based violence team currently have a vacancy for an ambitious and driven nurse to join our team. Based within the Health and Social Care Partnership this post spans many boundaries across acute and community settings and into multi-agency settings, working closely with the Fife Violence Against Women Partnership (FVAWP) and Women’s Aid amongst others.
You will be joining a small team which is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of Gender Based Violence are recognized and addressed. This will be done through education and training and working closely with our partner agencies. You will be actively involved in developing and delivering both NHS and multi-agency training.
You will attend MARAC (Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference) on a regular basis as one of the representatives for health in Fife. Through this you will endeavor to maintain the safety of those most at risk in our communities. You will work closely with others to provide clinical supervision where required.
You will be an experienced nurse with a keen interest in education and training. Experience of working with at risk and vulnerable individuals
is an advantage and knowledge of child and adult protection is essential.
You will be provided with a comprehensive induction and training package.
