Bare metal programming is required and we're looking for someone who has at least 5 years relating experience in their career to date. So what will I be doing? As a broad role you will be designing and developing embedded software working closely with a code development team. You'll look into integrating software with hardware, be well involved in testing and validation, create simulation models using Matlab/Simulink and generate associated technical documentation. Their real-time products use inverters, so any experience relating to inverter control is hugely beneficial - for example, motion controls, grid inverters, charging systems or similar. Very important to note is that this role will require for certain 3 days working in the office for testing purposes, so this is not a role that can exclusively be fulfilled remotely . What do I need exactly? Demonstrable experience of developing real-time embedded products Experience with Matlab/Simulink At least 5 years' experience of using bare metal software Understanding of inverters In this role at a small company in a small team you will be the go to person for all things Embedded Software relating.
