We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and caring Health Care Support Worker to join our team in Morda, Oswestry. You will join us on full time, permanent basis and in return we are offering a competitive salary of £18,159 - £22,125 per annum, depending on relevant experience. Every week three local families face their biggest fear and their child dies. Hope House Children's Hospices want to be there for every child and family and we are driven by the belief that no one should face the death of a child alone. As a leading charity for children, young people, and their families, we provide clinical, practical, and emotional support, putting the children and families at the heart of everything we do. Hope House Children's Hospices are bright, homely, active and supportive places. We have two hospices, Hope House situated in Morda, Oswestry and Ty-Gobaith situated in Conwy. We care for children with serious conditions, who are not expected to live longer than early adulthood. We help them enjoy the best possible quality of life and be as comfortable, happy and fulfilled as they can through short respite stays, emergency care or for end of life care. The Health Care Support Worker role: Working as part of a friendly team to provide holistic care and support to children & young people with complex, life-threatening conditions and their families, offering a beautiful, homely and fully equipped workplace. Having the time to build relationships with children and their families whilst they are at the hospice and between visits helps to make these incredibly fulfilling roles.
