About the role As part of the driving team at DFS you will work as part of a 2 person team delivering customers new sofa's into their homes. It's important to know that this is not just a driving role, you will complete a number of deliveries each day which will require you to safely install the product into our customer's home whilst delivering excellent service to our customers. Required for this role: Valid Digital tacho CPC Card C1 Entitlement About you Excellent customer service skills- You will be delivering a customer's new sofa in to their home so you must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Hard working - You should be willing to go the extra mile for our customers and at times that may mean you work a little later than planned. Previous manual handling experience -You are delivering sofa's in to customers homes which come in all shapes and sizes, so you must be able and willing to lift heavy sofas - don't worry we will ensure you receive adequate training first. Happy to help out with other tasks that might not be your usual role -we are all one team at dfs and we all work together to ensure we deliver to our customers. Therefore there may be times when you work in the warehouse, particularly if you get back early from your day on the road. Working patterns You will work an average of 44 hours per week over a 2 week shift pattern. This does include working evenings and weekends.
