The Role: Head of Marketing & Communications
We are looking for a Head of Marketing & Communications for this national strategic body that focuses on the advancement of skills in the science industries. You will be responsible for developing and implementing member-focused marketing/communication strategies, as well as creating brand and product awareness. You will be involved with developing the corporate identity and manage the company's reputation with stakeholders.You will be executing a targeted and content-driven plan, including a variety of campaigns & PR duties. You will develop and write materials for members and ensure the two key sector skills memberships (SIP & NSSG) are understood. You will be involved in developing high-quality publications, and manage events and public/media relations.You will develop relationships with other key partners. You will also ensure that Membership has an appropriate suite of materials and high-quality publications, and collaborate with the comms team in the Nuclear Sector Deal office.Working to provide high quality, customer-focused operational and administrative support and keeping abreast of skills policy, you will ensure quality control processes for all communications, and manage marketing budgets.

Experience of working at an operational and strategic level, with a focus on translating plans into actionThe ability to assimilate information from different sources and develop a depth of understandingExperience in development and execution of effective Marketing/Communications strategiesProven experience of building/sustaining relationships with a range of stakeholdersStrong negotiator, influencer and problem solverDegree in Marketing or similarExperience in event management
