Publicity and Social Media Manager.
Bloodhound Books are at the forefront of the digital publishing revolution. We work with more than 100 authors and have published more than 400 titles. Specialising in commercial fiction, we are a dynamic and innovative company who due to continuous growth are now looking for a Publicity and Social Media Manager to join our team in our Cambridge Office. About the role: This is a hands-on and busy publicity and social media management role. You will be responsible for developing and implementing publicity social media strategy for new title releases, continuous promotion of existing titles and to raise the profile of Bloodhound Books across a variety of channels. Key day to day tasks will involve: You will be in daily contact with authors planning new launches, developing positive relations and building their confidence in your strategies.You will plan, schedule and implement social media launches for new titles (approximately 8 per month).You will develop a range of visually engaging content using design and video/ animation software.Maintain and develop relationships with key book bloggers, reviewers and influencers, organising blog tours for new book releases.Work with marketing team to plan and implement promotions for the regular promotion of backlist titlesGrow Bloodhound’s following across all our social media platforms and identify and act on new trends and developments in the areaIdentify press and publicity opportunities to enhance the company reputation and raise the profile of our authorsManage and grow our list of advance reviewers ensuring all books are well-reviewed in advance of publication. We are a small team and operate in a fast-paced environment with continuously changing priorities.
