Technical Account Manager.
Watsons have a great opportunity if you sell in a technical, civils or sell building materials and have the ability to pick up highly technical information. Our client is a market leader in the design, development, manufacture and technical support of systems used in a wide range of civil engineering, environmental and sustainable building projects and looking for a new Account Manager/Technical Sales Consultant to join their critical team.
This is an office-based role which involves visiting customers two or three days per month.
Sell products and services by prospecting and proactively initiating successful new sales opportunities within sector specific GB markets.Working in liaison with external sales manager / director.Respond to client enquiries, communicate on technical issues and increase sales volume in line with our client’s sales policy.Fulfil GB market needs and engender confidence for us as a supplier to gain repeat business.Keep abreast of competitor information and strategies. To keep abreast of markets and identify opportunities for products that we can source and sell.Cross-feed opportunities to other sales personnel whenever appropriate. Pricing, quotations and quotation follow up.Negotiation with customers and closing the sale successfully.Key account management, visiting clients and sites.
