Due to continued growth and ambitious goals, our client is looking for a driven and highly motivated Sales Manager to oversee the sales operations within the company. As well as managing sales, the ideal candidate will be a hands-on individual who still enjoys speaking to customers and winning the sale.
As one of the leading businesses in its industry with a prominent online presence, it is essential for candidates to be able to refine current sales processes and introduce new strategies into the business to maximise growth opportunities.
Refining current sales processes and developing new strategies including outbound sales.
Chasing leads and following up on opportunities to generate sales.
Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Achieving growth and hitting sales targets.
Motivating staff and leading the sales team to achieve sales targets.
Owning recruitment, objective setting, coaching and performance monitoring.
Setting sales targets and activity key performance indicators
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified to degree level or relevant experience.
Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
Lead by example attitude.
Strong business sense.
IT and systems literacy.
Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
Self-motivated, success-driven and hard-working.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Experience in working for an online business would be desirable
