Job DescriptionLocum Planning Lawyer is required to join a local authority based in East Anglia for a period of 3 - 6 months initially and the view for possible extension thereafter. The role will be working completely remotely as the local authority will be not returning back to the office until Spring 2021 at the earliest. Our client is experiencing an increased demand in their workloads and as such require an experienced planning lawyer to be able to come on board and deal with a range of planning matters at varying complexity. The client advised that there is a great variety of planning work and the opportunity to get involved with COVID19 related matters including drafting of policies and legislation should this interest you. There is significant flexibility in terms of hours for this role and the client is happy to consider those who are looking for full time or reduced working hours / shorter days to work around other commitments due to childcare for example. You will have strong IT skills to be able to navigate their case management system and outlook especially with working from home as there is limited support.
