Home Care Manager.
Advert An opportunity has arisen for two highly motivated experienced managers to join the Intensive Services Team. The successful candidate will support the Senior Home Care Manager to ensure the efficient and smooth delivery of care at home services; including reablement, mainstream homecare Telecare and externally commissioned services. This is an exciting time for our service as we enter into the recovery phase of service operations which will present opportunity to consider new and innovative ways of working. The successful candidates will work as part of a highly motivated team who work together to ensure that services continue to be delivered in a person centred and outcome focussed way. This post is considered Regulated Work with Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with protected adults. This post requires Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) registration. You must c urrently have registration in the appropriate category or eligibility to apply from commencement of employment (you must complete registration within the first 6 months of employment). Employees with a contract of employment for 3 months or more are automatically included in our Local Government Pension Scheme which is a career average scheme. Pension contribution rates are based on a tiered system determined by your annual full time equivalent pensionable pay. For example for those earning up to and including 21,800 the contribution rate you pay is 5.5% of your salary. The council pays the rest of the cost of providing your benefits. This amount varies but it's always enough to make sure your pension can be paid and will be at least 19.3% of your pay.
