Salary: £23,000 - £25,000
My client based in Sunbury on Thames is looking for a Sales Ledger to join their Finance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating customer accounts while maintaining a high level of customer service.
The Sales Ledger will be highly numerical, have a keen eye for detail and be highly organised.
To issue refunds to customers for online shop purchases
Issue system credits
Apply cash received
Deal with all Paypal and credit card claims.
Liaise with the customer service teams to help resolve queries from customers.
Confirmation of VAT status and zero rating of invoices
Help with month end bank reconciliations
Applying payments and clearing down invoices.
Reconciling accounts on a regular basis.
To prepare documents as required by auditors
To perform other work-related duties as assigned
Skills and knowledge
Experience in Sales Ledger/ Accounts experience
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and email
Proactive, flexible and diplomatic.
Ability to cooperate in a team environment
