Supply teaching is the perfect solution for teachers who have been unable to secure an ongoing role or are simply not looking for the commitment of a full-time teaching post. It provides a great source of income, gives you flexibility in your work life and allows you to gain experience from a number of schools. If you are ideally seeking an ongoing role, many short term supply bookings can lead into long term and permanent positions. There is expected to be a high demand for Supply Teachers and cover staff as school life starts to return to normal, therefore, we are always recruiting for enthusiastic and hard-working teachers to work on a daily basis. We will always try to work to your specialisms, however, you may be expected to cover a variety of supply needs across all year groups and subjects. In addition to this, once funds are released schools will be looking at top up sessions and interventions to bridge the gap of what has been missed.
