Your new organisation are a large not-for-profit employer based in South Wales
Your new role
You will be working as a Project Manager reporting into the Head of Facilities. As a team, the FM specialists oversee a managed service provider and 30 assets/buildings including offices and depots. The team have oversight and responsibility of the organisations M&E, maintenance, cleaning, security, catering, hotel and accommodation and office refurbishments/moves.
Due to current circumstances their Estates strategy regarding agile working has been fast-forwarded and they are looking to de-commission and/or close sites. Your role will include creating detailed plans and then overseeing the delivery/project management successfully inline with time and financial budget. You will oversee the projects from inception to completion.
This role also involves overseeing multiple asset replacement schemes from the cost of £10 to £150k, such as boiler replacements, window replacements, LED lighting replacements. Your role will be to project manage these schemes from inception to completion and oversee the contractors.
Ensuring that new facilities & solutions are properly embedded and producing desired business outcomes and return on investment.
What you'll need to succeed
Degree level qualification or equivalent professional experience in Facilities/Property Management and Program/Project/Cost Management or similar.
Experience in Health & Safety preferably with a NEBOSH or IOSH qualification
Experience managing multiple projects within a programme of business change and asset replacement/upgrades, able to manage inter-dependencies in support of specific business strategies and objectives
Demonstrable ability to manage budgets to control spend against budget
