THINK is an education consultancy, providing services to the Further & Higher Education sector and working with employers on their organisational development issues, using high quality learning and development programmes. Based in Bolton, Greater Manchester, we have contracts across England. We have recently secured a contract which will see us provide account management services for employers our client is working with, to deliver work-based learning programmes. We have been supporting our client over the past few years to build their capacity to work with FTSE 250 employers. Today, our client has over 100 customers in the public & private sectors.
To provide further account management services, we are seeking to appoint an Account Manager, initially on 6-month full time contract, which has the scope to become a permanent full-time role.
The Account Manager will:
Work with Business Directors who are based in the field and who performed the initial sale.Work with the employer clients over the telephone (sometimes face to face) to arrange the planning of programmes, ensuring that all arrangements are in place for the employees who take up the programmes.Liaise with our client to ensure that all the necessary arrangements are in place to on-board the employer and the learners on to learning programmes.
What we are looking for in an Account Manager:
Project Management is the key skill we are looking for. The employers can have up to 250 employees participating on programmes at any one time. Our agreements with them mean that we need to provide monthly updates on progress of individual learners. When things are going well, we need to update the employer as soon as possible with a rectification plan.Communication is a key skill in the role as well. Lots of conversations will take place on email and over the phone.Strong administrative skills.
