Job DescriptionRole In your role as Operations Analyst you will be responsible for, - Inputting and monitoring cash activity, contribution/distribution payments, expenses and foreign exchange/hedge transactions whilst maintaining accurate cash records and carrying out regular reconciliations with the fund custodian. - Ensuring that cash transactions are input accurately into the online banking system on a timely basis. - Accurate and timely input of valuations into our bespoke performance system, taking responsibility for building relationships with the finance teams of our underlying investment fund managers, liaising with them to obtain and process monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports as well as data regarding fees and expenses in underlying funds. - Participation in audits of the Funds, ensuring all relevant information is prepared clearly, accurately and is available on a timely basis. - Assisting with the implementation of new investment decisions within the funds we manage, including initial preparation of purchase/sale paperwork and updating Operations' systems, completion of market opening documents and opening custody accounts. - Processing investor transaction within our bespoke investor relations system, and reconciliation with our administrator's records. Profile As an integral member of the Operations team, the Investment Operations Analyst plays an important role within the business, sitting at the heart of making investments happen. Reporting to the Head of Investment Operations, this role is part of the team responsible for the valuation, accounting and oversight of the Funds we manage. The role is diverse and offers the opportunity to input into various aspects of running an investment portfolio including fund accounting, liquidity management and operational due diligence as well as some of the more technical aspects of FCA regulation and UK/US taxation.
