Sales Account Manager.
Kale & Damson is a privately owned fresh produce company that operates out of Papworth Everard, CB23 3GY (a 20 to 30 minute drive from Cambridge, Bedford and Peterborough locations).
We pride ourselves on providing local businesses, restaurants, hotels, pubs, colleges, schools and more in the surrounding area with quality produce and a great level of customer service. We have also recently launched our new home delivery service, delivering a variety of products to homes around the county and beyond.
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Account Manager to join our team. Previous experience in sales in not essential - as long as you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and the drive and confidence to succeed, we would love to hear from you. • Managing relationships with existing accounts
• Researching potential new customers
• Generating new business by bringing spending customer on board
• Maximising sales opportunities by upselling to existing accounts
• Delivering exceptional customer service both face-to-face and on the phone
• Self-motivated and able to work off own initiative
• Negotiation and influencing skills
• Experience of working in a target driven environment is preferred, but not essential
• Customer focused attitude, with experience in customer service
• Professionally presented and confident communicator
• Full manual UK driving license
• Knowledge of the hospitality industry would be useful
• Some knowledge of the food/fresh produce industry is preferred
• Basic computer skills
• £20 000 basic salary plus OTE (discussable at interview stage)
