This particular client I am recruiting for are looking for a Sales Manager to sell the naval products related to their portfolio. Working as the Sales Support Manager, you will execute the sales activities and ensure the regional sales organisations are engaged and working on behalf of customer specific sales activities. You will manage the sales pipeline and ensure customer satisfaction both external and internal. This role will see you maintaining customer relationships through regular interaction meetings, including internal stakeholders where appropriate. As a company representative to our customers, you will manage proposals and sales activities on a global scale and to a global customer base.

Knowledge of the marine industry in both Commercial and particularly Naval markets
A good engineering background with the ability to communicate at a technical level with internal and external customers
Deliver annual sales targets both in terms of sales price and margin
Maintain and improve defined customer relationship to ensure the client meets customers’ requirements & expectations
Identify and develop relationships with existing / potential customers, both internal and external to ensure our client meets the requirements and expectations
Develop, submit and manage quotations technically and commercially, involving all stakeholders (engineering, purchasing, operations, commercial) from initial prospect to contract for all category of projects
Follow up all enquiries and successfully negotiate contracts directly with customers
