Reporting to our UK Business Manager and supporting international sourcing, requirements the role involve: Supporting the sales teams through effective sourcing, identifying opportunities from concept to product development and presentation, ensuring category and ultimately business growth Involved in large tenders with managed support Managing and developing strong, trusted relationships with suppliers, many with very long relationships and histories with the business Providing exceptional customer service to key accounts Operating in a trading environment, generating ideas and spotting opportunities This is an opportunity to grow and develop a long-term leadership role in our organisation. You must be able to demonstrate: A solid track record sourcing homeware products, product development and range building. A keen eye for opportunity, adding value for our clients, taking on new projects and achieving positive commercial results Experience working with large retailers like Aldi or Lidl A strong understanding of the production process, effective prioritising, planning, attention to detail and a strong finisher Advanced excel, financial and commercial acumen At least 5 years sourcing experience in Asia is ideal Positive relationships with colleagues, buyers and suppliers, and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,...
