Senior Brand Manager. Parker Young is supporting a global FMCG brand to find a fantastic FMCG brand marketing professional for a great interim SBM role. Role responsibilities: Identify and drive opportunities to grow sales and profitability of the brand portfolio. Drive, manage and implement the renovation and innovation agenda Develop and execute the annual brand plan for the specified sub brands. Manage development and protection of brand positioning and consumer proposition. Track performance of the brand portfolio and competitors and formulate necessary action plans to deliver brand and commercial objectives. Lead and provide direction to cross functional teams, ensuring alignment across sales, marketing and category marketing. Develop and execute consumer marketing initiatives using appropriate cost effective media solutions to achieve communication objectives working effectively with appropriate communications agencies. Own the marketing expenditure budget within specific area of responsibility Understand the changing needs of the target consumer through effective use of consumer research programmes. Line manage member of your team. We are looking for a candidate with strong FMCG brand marketing experience. It would suit a Brand Manager who is immediately available or someone who is in a permanent role at Brand Manager level and for the right challenge, prepared to explore this long term interim role. You must have: Experience of all marketing communications mix (TV, Press, PR, Promotions) Experience of working with and directing external agencies Project management and leadership skills Microsoft Office capability (particularly Powerpoint and Excel) Strengths in data interpretation and analysis Line management experience (desirable) Commercial understanding A logical yet creative approach to problem solving Strong and confident communication
