Service Desk Engineer.
Want to help manage the IT of SME and Corporate clients across Cheshire, working with market leading cloud and on premise technologies? The successful candidate should have worked previously within a technical role for an IT support business, value added reseller or managed services provider, and aspiring to develop their career and skills by expanding their work experience to the next level. Suitable candidates will already have MSP service desk experience along with MAC-level project exposure, both remotely and onsite visits and now seeking to develop their technical experience further. Additionally, the successful candidate will have shown dedication to their professional development by achieving industry recognised qualifications such as CompTIA accreditations or Microsoft MCP / MCSE and have direct experience of working with common MSP tools and technologies, such as Autotask, Datto, ConnectWise, Kaseya, Zendesk, VMware, AWS, Azure and Office 365. The successful candidate will be working with and therefore requires management experience of; Active Directory, Windows Server & Hyper-V Azure AD Office 365 & Exchange Server Remote Desktop Services Market leading Firewalls and Switches Market leading Backup and recovery solutions Benefits in addition to salary include supported training and development plans, assistance/health plan, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays . Although based from my clients offices near to Cheadle, candidates should have access to their own car and license for occasional customer site visits. Currently my client is operating a rotation of staff between working from home and office to promote physical distancing in response to the pandemic, however the role is considered to be office based in non-pandemic conditions. Finally, as the core link between my client and their customers, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
