We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Coordinator to join a well-known Charity based in South Bucks. The Coordinator will be part of the Clinical Trials Support Team with the main purpose of the role being to provide in depth logistical support to patients and / or their carers to enable them to access clinical trials globally. The role is office based however due to current restrictions, there is an option to work from home with voluntary office attendance. Role & Responsibilities: The Coordinator must have an understanding of the complex needs of patients attending clinical trials, and act as a liaison between patients and clients when dealing with requests and queries. The Coordinator will be maintaining regular communication and building strong working relationships with clinical trial sites, clients, patients and service providers globally. The Coordinator will be supporting clients with clinical trial start up, where appropriate. The Coordinator will have the responsibility for the out of hours phone on a rotation basis to manage out of hours emergencies across different time zones. The Coordinator will be traveling to clinical trial sites globally to complete site visits, meeting with the clinical trial team and assessment of local accommodation. (At this stage, due to Covid all travel is on hold). The Coordinator will be answering the telephone, taking detailed messages or passing on calls as appropriate. The Coordinator will be representing the Company and will be attending meetings and events. The Coordinator will have to attend and participate in appropriate team meetings and attend training events relevant to their specific responsibilities.
