Our client has an excellent opportunity for an Service Technician to join their growing team.
Based in Sheffield, you will join a dedicated and experienced team, growing to be an integral team player in their operation, servicing existing equipment and manufacturing new.
With strong organisational skills, a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, you will possess good interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, flexible and adaptable. The ability to work in a fast moving, ever changing production environment is required for this role as is a logical approach to practical problem solving.
Applicants must have the ability to work as part of multi-disciplined team and on their own initiative.
Previous experience in a mechanical & electrical assembly role is desirable, but not essential. However full training of the clients products will be given. Our client invest in their workers, so you can expect personal development in both internal products, and external training and qualifications.
Actively contribute to improving Health & Safety performance. You will carry out inspections, repairs, and servicing of equipment. Potential customer visits to undertake inspections, mechanical service/ fitting work, mechanical installations, fault finding. Work with a strict adherence to work instructions, manuals, and procedures to ensure quality conformity is maintained relentlessly. Adherence to production plans to ensure a sustained customer centric operation. Create reports for all work conducted. You will enjoy the hands-on aspect of the role and actively participate in site as well as job preparation work.
