Principal Planning Officer
Due to an internal promotion this West Midlands Local Planning Authority require an experienced Principal Planner to join their Planning Policy team for an initial 6 month period.
We are looking for someone who is available to start mid-September with interviews taking place over the next 2 weeks.
The main duties you will be required to deal with :
·Planning policy comments on applications
·Working on Local Plan matters
·Working on evidence base.
The successful candidate must have recent and relevant experience with a Local Planning Authority. Ideally you will be RTPI accredited but it is not totally essential. An appropriate degree level qualification is required. At the moment the Council are working remotely but the individual will need to be prepared to come attend meetings in the office should the need arise.
Pay rate for this post is negotiable depending on experience and the IR35 status potentially being Outside IR35.
