Company A leading global supplier of medical device equipment into hospitals and research institutions. This is an opportunity to work on cutting edge capital equipment that is essential in saving lives every day and is solely working within the hospital market. Role You will be responsible for carrying out routine service and testing on a range of equipment, responding to customer callouts, and maintaining strong working relationships across the territory. You will be managing Londons North West or East region, so any existing relationships within these hospitals would be advantageous but not essential. Responsibilities include: Provide routine testing of equipment to the clients standard Carry out mechanical servicing of equipment Electrical/mechanical fault finding of equipment Ensure stock levels are maintained efficiently Produce quality documentation for submission to the customer Ensure that correct returns report procedures are closely followed Provide out of hours stand by cover, on a rota basis, to service the needs of the customers. Produce written validation reports when required. Experience required 2-5 years service engineering experience within electrical engineering Experience servicing medical machinery Strong experience in PLC and PCB for machines Previous experience of service/testing autoclaves and/or washers Experience in a maintenance environment, ideally within a medical, or other process industry. Adapt under pressure in a fast paced, technical and highly regulated environment IT literate to complete validation and customer reports Full drivers licence to manage the territory effectively This job was originally posted as
