Children with Disabilities Social Worker 30 per hour Our client, Bury Council is looking for a registered Social Worker with CWD experience. The Council's Children's Disability service is based at 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury and provides an assessment and care management service for children who have a permanent and substantial disability or a life-limiting illness. The legislative framework for the team is primarily through the Children & Families Act 2014, Children's Act 2004, The Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970, The Carers and Disabled Children Act 2000 and The Breaks for Carers of Disabled Children Regulations 2011. The responsibilities include working with Bury CWD with a full caseload subject to CIN, CP and LAC plan and subject to private law proceedings. You will also be completing comprehensive child and family assessments and working with multi disciplinary agencies including health, social care and education. Undertaking S47 enquiries, undertaking CP medicals, completing parenting assessments, PAMS assessments The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
