Job DescriptionRole purpose and role dimensions: Overview of the job * To provide a high quality technical administrative support service, relevant to the area of business, to the Directors, Heads of Service, Principal Officers and other administration functions asrequired. * Assistthesupportservicewitharangeoftechnicalmanagementduties including carrying out research for input intoreports. * Deliver a range of specialist services, advising and assisting customerson specificaspectswithintheirownareaofworktomaximiseservice quality, efficiency andcontinuity. * Dealwithenquiries,ensuringthatappropriateadvice,guidanceand referralsaremade,.Prepareandanalysemanagementortechnical information, including project plans for the servicearea. * Thepostholderwillrespondflexibly,positivelyandsuccessfully tothe ever changing pressures which arise in their respective directorate. * The post holder will use their initiative to handle processes and to resolveproblemsandqueriesbasedonexperienceandjudgment.They will receive clear guidance but will perform with minimal day to day supervision. * Toprovidecoveranddeputiseonoccasionfortheirlinemanagerand other Technical Officer's.
