Experienced Gardener – Private Home (16 Acres)
Salary- Competitive Depending on Experience
Hours up to 15 per week.
We are seeking an experienced and passionate gardener to help maintain and develop a beautiful 16-acre private home garden.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in and creating traditional English country gardens, with a genuine love for planting, growing, and nurturing outdoor spaces. You should be self-motivated, hardworking, and take pride in high standards of garden care, including composting and sustainable gardening practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and developing a large country garden and grounds
- Planting, pruning, and seasonal garden care
- Lawn and border maintenance
- Creating and managing compost areas
- Supporting the continued development of a traditional English garden style
- Maintaining woodland, chainsaw experience a bonus
About You:
- Proven gardening experience, ideally within private estates or country gardens
- Strong plant knowledge and practical horticultural skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Passionate about gardening and outdoor work
- Own tools are a bonus, but not essential
The Role:
- Part-time position
- Working for a friendly family in a private home setting
- Flexible on days and hours and can be discussed at interview
