Temporary Facilities Assistant required in the Quayside area of Cambridge to work a minimum 3 months. This role will be full time, 35/40 hours per week.


Duties would include; raising and responding to tickets raised, helping to set up meeting rooms, assist with mailroom duties, conduct daily floor walks, monitor upkeep of stationery levels (paper, print points, writing materials etc).


Previous experience in facilities management is highly desirable.


Our client are looking for a proactive and organised individual who can go above and beyond when required.


Salary: £13.85 per hour.


Start date: 1st - 5th May.

Key responsibilities include: • Managing email correspondence and responding professionally to enquiries, • Maintaining accurate financial records and updating company accounts, • Preparing and issuing invoices, • Assisting with credit control and monitoring outstanding payments, • Assisting with preparation and filing of VAT and PAYE., • Supporting general office administration and operational tasks. Qualifications & Skills • Previous experience in an office or administrative environment (preferred), • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and maintain attention to detail, • Proficiency in standard office software (e.g. Microsoft Office, Excel), • Prior experience in a similar accounts or admin role is advantageous Working Hours Monday to Friday in Cambridge office 9:00am – 1:00pm (20 hours per week) Salary £12,000 – £15,000 per annum depending on experience Holiday Entitlement 10 days annual leave, plus UK bank holidays Benefits • Ongoing training and professional development, • Opportunity to gain experience in accounting and business operations, • Optional opt in pension scheme and employer contributions
