We are seeking a reliable and professional Porter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of our premises by assisting with various tasks, ensuring a clean and organised environment, and providing excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to develop organisational and communication skills within a dynamic setting. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who are committed to delivering the highest standards of service.
This role requires regular travel throughout the UK, with a particular focus on London, including evening and weekend work.
Responsibilities
Assisting with the movement of goods, furniture, or equipment around the clients premises efficiently and safely
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in designated areas, including entrances, corridors, and storage spaces
Providing assistance to visitors or clients, including directions and general information
Ensuring that all public areas are tidy, safe, and welcoming at all times
Supporting other team members with ad hoc duties as required
Operating relevant equipment such as trolleys or carts to facilitate transportation tasks
Responding promptly to any customer or visitor enquiries in a courteous manner
Qualifications
Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is essential
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
Good organisational abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude towards work responsibilities
