We are seeking a gardener / general property maintenance person to join our small team. The position would suit an experienced individual with an emphasis on gardening (references required), having the ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks to help maintain a large beautiful private property in South Yorkshire.
8 hours per day, 2 days per week to work alongside the existing gardener. Days to be agreed. Salary based on abilities and experience (direct labour only employment could also be an option).

Knowledge of wood-working and basic plumbing would be an advantage but not necessary.
Self-motivation and ability to work on your own and as
part of a small team is essential.
Job location is between Barnsley/Rotherham and Doncaster.

- cultivating grassed areas, flower beds, hedges, shrubs and borders;
- carrying out landscaping duties including drainage clearance, pathways and steps;
- clearing leaves around the site, both by machine and manually;
- carrying out minor repairs around the site;
- conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs;
- general house and landscape maintenance repairs.
Skills:
- experience as a gardener;
- ability to work well with others
- ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools;
- ability to lift heavy objects (if required);
- ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time
- a love of the outdoors and plant life
