Surfacing Operative/ Groundworker Tarmac Civils

Small family company require experienced operatives to join our team.
Experience in general highway civils and surfacing required I.e kerbing drainage fencing paving etc experience with tarmac machine and hand lay is preferred.
Surfacing Experience desired and one opening is for experienced roller driver.
Must be able to demonstrate good work ethics And be a team player.
Vast verity of works so must be adaptable to different projects and works etc generally cover a 50/60 mile radius therefore sometimes there may be some travelling
Must be able to work on own initiative but also work well as part of a team.
PPE provided however own hand tools preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, trenching, and excavating
• Operate hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks
• Assist with the installation and maintenance of underground utilities
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
  Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver's license is preferred
