Position Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced gymnastics coaches to join our team. As a gymnastics coach at JymKidz, you will have the opportunity to teach kids ages 4-12 a variety of gymnastics skills, from basic techniques to more advanced routines. Our ideal candidate is passionate about working with children, has a strong background in gymnastics, and is committed to fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead gymnastics classes for children in a fun, engaging, and safe environment.
Teach age-appropriate skills, including basic gymnastics, tumbling, and apparatus work (vault, bars, beam, floor).
Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining proper supervision and enforcing safety protocols.
Provide individual feedback and encouragement to help students improve their skills.
Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude to keep kids excited and motivated.
Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and any important updates.
Assist with organizing and setting up events, competitions, or shows.
Support the development of new lesson plans and activities to keep the program fresh and exciting.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in gymnastics coaching or a strong gymnastics background.
Ability to work with children of various skill levels and ages.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
High energy, patience, and a positive attitude.
Must be dependable and punctual.
