The Fox & Goose, a charming and well-supported pub just outside Hook, is looking for an independent kitchen partner to take over our food operation. We handle the wet sales and bring in the footfall; you run the kitchen as your own business, keeping the lion's share of your food revenue.
What We Are Looking For:
We are explicitly looking for a partner who takes pride in traditional, home-cooked pub food. Our regulars and visitors love the classics done exceptionally well. Your menu should feature high-quality, fresh-cooked staples such as:
- Hearty, slow-cooked pies and proper Sunday roasts
- Classic hand-battered fish and chips
- Comforting, locally sourced pub mains and basket meals
Note: We are not looking for modern street-food brands (tacos/smash burgers)—our demographic wants authentic, comforting British pub fare.

Ideal Partner:
You are a hygiene-conscious, self-sufficient operator (or solo chef team) with a proven track record of managing a kitchen independently. You will have full autonomy over your menu, ingredient sourcing, and pricing, while maintaining your own food hygiene ratings and public liability insurance.
