Job Description:
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our small family run team based in Nottinghamshire. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating systems. This role requires a strong technical background, practical skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure the efficient operation of heating systems. Applicants must possess relevant experience and a proactive approach to safety and quality standards.
Duties
Install, service, and repair various heating systems including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating.
Use a range of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out maintenance tasks effectively.
Perform plumbing tasks related to heating systems, ensuring all connections are secure and compliant with regulations.
Maintain detailed records of work completed and parts used for each job.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during operations.
Experience
Minimum 3 years experience
Gas safe registered and or OFTEC
Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and efficiently.
Full UK driving license
Must be able to work in a team and on your own
Good communication skills are essential
Full time/Part time and subcontractors considered. Van, uniform and phone provided. candidates will be required to provide 2 references. Must be available to work Saturdays on a rota, mainly during winter season. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
