Job Purpose:
To work within the Albrighton Moat and Gardens team to lead horticultural sessions with the aim of improving the wellbeing, social, health and capability of people disadvantaged by physical or learning disabilities or ill health.

Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the day to day delivering of Horticultural therapy sessions independently, or alongside colleagues, seasonal staff and volunteers to maintain a high-level provision to beneficiaries.
Undertaking appropriate risk assessments and ensuring delivery and health and safety issues are considered and appropriate for the intended participants.
Ensure that effective systems and processes are put into place to support Horticultural therapy activities.
Engage with hard-to-reach individuals disadvantaged by physical and learning disabilities or ill health.
Undertake research or utilise existing data to deliver capability-building activities, which will improve the health, wellbeing and quality of life for beneficiaries.
Aware of Health & Safety requirements, noting that all duties must be carried out to comply with current Health & Safety at work legislation.
Employ appropriate engagement and consultation techniques taking into account diversity of the target group.
Ensure all documentation relating to the sessions are maintained to a professional level.
Attend on site and external fundraising events representing The Albrighton Trust
