Our Junior Sous Chefs are proactive, detail oriented leaders in the kitchen. They are true food enthusiasts; creative, passionate, and committed to impeccable standards, while ensuring full compliance with food safety regulations.
As a Junior Sous Chef, you will support our Chef De Parties, Commis Chefs Kitchen Porters in maintaining our high standards of service, leading from the front and helping to develop the skills of your team.
We empower our Junior Sous Chefs to be approachable, open, honest respected, and give them the tools to develop their team themselves.
WHAT YOU'LL BE GETTING UP TO
Collaboratively deliver the Arbour Bar Arriba Menus with confidence, precision, and pride
Work closely with the Sous Chef Head Chef to lead the wider kitchen team to create exceptional guest experiences
Running the day to day operations of our kitchens
Ensuring we are compliant, clean and safe
Prepping for the day ahead and delegating tasks to the team to ensure success
Supporting with stock management
Creating new and exciting dishes for menu changes and seasonal specials
Training and Developing your team
Lead by example on compliance, safety, and completing e-learning and checklists
Represent yourself and the Incipio brand with positivity, professionalism, and pride
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Previous experience as a Chef in a fast paced, multi brand, enviroment
A passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and high standards of food preparation and presentation
Organised, clean, and confident in maintaining food hygiene, stock rotation, and compliance
A team player who contributes to a calm, collaborative and motivated kitchen culture
Strong communication and willingness to train, mentor, and support junior chefs
Energy, pace, and a genuine desire to grow your craft within a high-performance kitchen
