As a Kitchen Porter, you will be an essential part of our kitchen team, ensuring that the kitchen area is clean, organized, and efficient. Being hired as a Kitchen Porter, with our Greek restaurants (in Palmers Green N13) , you will ideally have experience within a similar role, although this is not essential. You will support the running of the kitchen and showing warmth and compassion to our residents, their families and friends is vital along with helping to promote independence, dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals. We promote person centred care and always offer our residents choices. To achieve this: You must have a positive attitude and wholly adopt a person-centred approach, showing compassion and a desire to make a difference. Assisting the team with food preparation in accordance with Level 2 standard in food hygiene (training will be given). Preparing and serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Working effectively as a team player with a 'can do' attitude. Interacting with residents. Maintaining high standards of hygiene. Communicate professionally with family, friends and health care professionals. Promote the home in a professional manner.
