The successful candidate must have experience in: • Operating ride on and hand pushed mowers, • Operating strimmers and leaf blowers, • Undertaking soil cultivations and seed bed preparation, • Seeding, planting and weeding, • Chopping firewood, • Pruning, • Chainsaw license would be advantageous but not essential Qualifications • A full driving licence is essential, • Qualifications such as NVQ 2 Amenity Horticulture, RHS Level 2, or equivalent along with previous experience working on Estates is desired but not essential, • Previous experience in gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance is preferred., • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems is desirable., • Growing experience or knowledge of plant care and horticultural practices is advantageous., • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail., • Good organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately., • Physical fitness to perform manual tasks such as digging, lifting, and standing for extended periods., • A genuine interest in gardening and landscape aesthetics. Originally constructed as an internment camp during World War II, the site opened as a prison in 1946 and has since evolved into a specialist facility with a capacity of approximately 400-480 inmates.Your new roleAs an Electrician, you will carry out installations, testing and commissioning of electrical systems in line with statutory regulations and industry best practice.
