Due to company growth, we are looking for an Experienced part time laser, rotatory engraver, hours to be confirmed but will be mainly Monday – Friday, extra hours around busy periods and to cover holidays etc. Full time hours maybe available in the future.
Duties will include:
Laser engraving and marking using a CO2 laser machine and rotary engraving machines.
Making items ready for engraving and finishing items ready for the customer.
Managing stock levels and quality control.
Help with the dispatch of completed orders.
Cutting and drilling of slate, metal and laminate using different power tools.
The successful candidate will have experience in laser and rotary engraving, a "can do" attitude, good literacy, numeracy and practical skills and be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.
Confident in using power tools and hand tools, full training given.
Excellent English skills, especially with spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Excellent communication skills, over the phone, face to face and by email.
A good level of computer literacy.
The ability to multi-task and to work to deadlines.
A keen eye for detail.
The ability to work on your own as well as part of a team.
