Overview
Karate & Dance Federation Ltd is seeking a Lead Specialist Dance Coach to take ownership of our growing dance provision.
This is a leadership-focused role, ideal for a coach looking to step into a position with real influence. You will be responsible for shaping curriculum, leading staff, and ensuring high-quality, consistent delivery across all programmes.
We are entering an exciting phase of growth, with clear plans to expand our dance offer. This role has the potential to grow into a full-time position as participation and provision increase.

  • Oversee and improve staff performance, including conducting reviews
  • Ensure consistency and high standards across all sessions
  • Support the development and training of dance coaches
  • Prepare students for performances and showcases
  • Maintain strong safeguarding and professional standards

What We’re Looking For
Essential:

  • Experience delivering dance to children and young people
  • Strong technical knowledge in one or more dance styles
  • Confidence in leading or supporting other staff
  • Ability to plan and deliver structured, engaging sessions
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Desirable:

  • First Aid qualification

What We Offer

  • £13.50 per hour
  • A leadership role with real influence and autonomy
  • Access to a Business Coach to support your professional growth
  • Wellbeing support as part of our staff care approach
  • Ongoing CPD and training opportunities
  • Protected admin time to fulfil leadership responsibilities
  • Opportunity to grow the role into full-time employment
  • A supportive, values-driven organisation focused on quality and impact

Why Join Us?
We are not focused on being the biggest—we are focused on being one of the most consistent and high-quality providers in our sector.
This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a dance provision, not just deliver sessions.
