We are looking for friendly, professional people to join our team of Lottery Representatives. Our Lottery Representatives promote St Clare Hospice Lottery and encourage new members to join. There are opportunities to work door to door and/or at venues. This is a flexible position that can fit in with your personal circumstances.

We are looking for friendly, professional people to join our team of Lottery Representatives. Our Lottery Representatives promote St Clare Hospice Lottery and encourage new members to join. There are opportunities to work door to door and/or at venues. This is a flexible position that can fit in with your personal circumstances.
Duties
- Door to Door Canvassing - To call on every household in an agreed area and explain the benefits of supporting the hospice by joining our lottery.
- Event/Venue Canvassing – to represent the Hospice Lottery at pre-arranged venues or events.
- To complete new applications fully, using the tablet provided to you.
- To attend a weekly “Keep in Touch Meeting”; a pre-arranged appointment with the Lottery Team to bring in new members applications ensuring that new lottery members are entered into the relevant draw(s).
Requirements
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Experience of working with the public face to face
- High levels of attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills particularly face to face
- Excellent organisational skills
- Must be over 18 years old
- Must be reliable, honest, friendly and approachable
- Must have a professional outlook and appearance
