We are looking for a** Setting out Engineer** for a Formwork and Groundwork company that is building residential buildings for more than 10 years; The job is for 7 months, West London, Acton, W3. Must be fully skilled in setting out all aspects of groundworks, infrastructure, deep drainage, footings, roads as well as other setting out duties typically found on a residential groundworks Project, must also be able to read and interpolate structural/architectural drawings. Job Description for Setting Out Engineer: Good understanding and interpolation of engineer and architects drawings. Able to transfer from drawings to setting out in the field accurately and clearly Able to inspect and raise / rectify quality actions prior to concrete pours, backfill of drainage etc. Able to use key software such as Microsoft suite, AutoCad and Adobe pdf packages. Able to carry out take of of quantities for site ordering Able to read and understand drainage, RC drawings, and experienced in standard rebar call-off procedure/methods. Good attitude and able to work as part of a team, reporting to Foreman and Site/Project Manager. Requirements: CSCS card Diploma or Degree qualification in civil engineering or similar course.
