Waking Hour Support & Reassurance:

The support worker is to;

1. Remain awake throughout the night to provide proactive support, companionship, and reassurance.

Calmly manage nighttime restlessness.

3. Provide comfort and reassurance to reduce anxiety if the client wakes distressed, confused, or disoriented.

4)Safety & Monitoring:
Monitor the client throughout the night, to ensure they do not fall.
