ENHANCED DBS REQUIRED We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented self-employed cleaner to support the daily cleaning needs of a busy nursery. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene, ensuring safe and clean spaces for young children, and carrying out light kitchen duties, including washing dishes. Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitise classrooms, play areas, toilets, and communal areas Wipe down surfaces, toys, tables, and frequent touchpoints Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors Empty bins and manage waste safely Wash dishes and maintain a clean kitchen area Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed Ensure all areas are left clean, hygienic, and ready for the next day Follow nursery health and safety and safeguarding procedures Requirements: Must be self-employed and able to provide proof of status Enhanced DBS is required Previous cleaning experience in nurseries, schools, or commercial settings preferred Strong attention to detail and understanding of hygiene standards in childcare environments Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Must be available Monday to Friday, 2pm–5pm Must be able to start immediately
