Join our team as the Operations Manager, taking on the responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our bustling charter business. With a stable team of four and an increase to 16 staff during the busy summer months, you will ensure the smooth running of operations as the current owners transition to semi-retirement. Once training is completed, you will enjoy considerable autonomy to manage operations effectively, with limited interference from the owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and staff management
- Ensure quality service and operational efficiency
- Coordinate schedules and activities during peak season
- Implement training and development for seasonal staff
- Organising food, hostesses and catering staff
- Organising crew rotas
- Social Media strategy
- Meeting clients (viewings and pre-charter arrangements)
- Booking Piers
- Stock control for paint, spares etc
- Looking after Cooks Yard tenants
Your Profile:
- Highly organized with strong leadership skills
- Efficient problem-solver with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
