Role Overview: As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and motivating the sales team, driving growth and profitability, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with the dealership management team to develop and execute sales strategies while maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Champion core competencies, policies, and procedures in all interactions., • Oversee profit and loss for the Sales department, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting., • Lead, manage, and train the sales team, providing guidance and performance feedback., • Set and monitor sales targets, implementing corrective actions as needed., • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns., • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business avenues., • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring exceptional service., • Collaborate with finance, service, and marketing departments to enhance customer experience., • Manage vehicle inventory to meet customer demands and maximise sales., • Negotiate favourable terms with automotive manufacturers and suppliers., • Analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement measures accordingly., • Ensure compliance with dealership policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements., • Stay updated on industry trends, new vehicle models, and technologies through continuous learning., • Inspire and motivate the team, providing recognition and engaging in performance processes.
