We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. This role involves accurately dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and supporting pharmacy operations. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmacy procedures and a commitment to ensuring patient safety. Prior experience as a pharmacy technician is highly desirable, along with a passion for assisting patients with their medication needs.
Duties
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with healthcare regulations and pharmacy protocols.
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and organising medication orders.
- Provide guidance to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and storage instructions.
- Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient interactions.
- Support inventory management by checking stock levels and placing orders for replenishment.
- Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Administer medications under supervision where applicable, ensuring proper documentation and patient care standards are met.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient treatment plans and medication adherence.
Experience
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care practices is advantageous.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and record-keeping requirements is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
We are looking for either fulltime, Part time and on contractual basis to cover for Maternity leave.
