Job Summary
We are seeking a Picture Framer to join our team. This is a fast paced working enviroment with quick turnaround times The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality picture frames and specialised framing solutions, ensuring each piece meets our precise standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, combining craftsmanship with artistic flair, while contrributing to the presentation of artwork, photographs, and memorabilia.
Hours will be flexible for the right candidate, initally around 12 hours per week over a 2/3 days days a week with opportunity for overtime depending on demand
Duties
Manufacture custom frames using a variety of materials including wood mouldings
Assemble framing components with precision, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
Operate machinary; saw, mount cutter, acrylic cutter and glass cutter whilst maintaining safety protocols at all times.
Measure and cut materials to specified dimensions with attention to detail.
Assist in the mounting and glazing of artwork or photographs within frames.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
Need to work independley on also part of a team
Skills
Previous experience in picture framing or carpentry would be preferred but not essential
Organised with excellent attention to detail to produce high-quality finished products.
