Production Operative
Location: Haydock, St Helens
Pay: £12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.08 per hour after 4 weeks
Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts
Shifts: 6:00am–2:00pm and 11:00am–7:00pm
Job Type: Full-time, ongoing
We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join a busy and well-established manufacturing business based in Haydock.
This is a hands-on role working with specialist glass products. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for candidates with previous production, manufacturing, warehouse or other practical experience.
About the Role
As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks within the production process, ensuring products meet the required quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carefully inspecting glass for bubbles, imperfections and defects
Removing bubbles and carrying out finishing work where required
Working with epoxy resin as part of the production process
Pressing and positioning glass into specialist machinery
Operating production equipment safely and correctly
Following production processes and quality control procedures
Handling glass carefully and safely throughout the production process
Meeting production and quality targets
Maintaining a clean and organised working area
Following all company health and safety procedures
